Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA, Inc.) is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Engineer for a CONTRACT role that is fully remote.

You will design, build, and maintain financial planning solutions on Workday Adaptive Planning, collaborating with FP&A, Accounting, and Finance Systems to translate budgeting requirements into scalable models. The role owns the technical health of the Adaptive Planning environment, including model design, data integrations with Workday Financials, and the

Qualifications

• 3+ years configuring Workday Adaptive Planning (models, sheets, dimensions, formulas, and allocations).
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Experience integrating Adaptive Planning with Workday Financials or other systems.
• Knowledge of Workday Financials data model and mapping to planning models.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Workday Adaptive Planning models, sheets, and dimensions.
• Build data flows between Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning with reliable actuals loads.
• Develop formulas, allocations, and modeled sheets for scalable planning.
• Ensure data accuracy, cadence, and reconciliation across sources.
• Partner with FP&A to translate requirements into model designs and options.
• Configure security, user access, and workflow in Adaptive Planning.
• Support testing and regression for releases; maintain dashboards for plan vs actuals.
• Document model design and data flows for knowledge transfer.
• Provide production support during budgeting and forecasting cycles.
