Job summary

SHI is seeking a Systems Engineer to join its MSP team, focusing on Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft infrastructure services across multiple customer environments. Ideal candidates have strong on-premises Microsoft experience, troubleshooting, and documentation skills, with the ability to work with customers and senior staff in cloud and hybrid environments.

The role emphasizes server builds, upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning, with on-call rotation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role in MSP/enterprise.
• Strong Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy experience.
• Experience with Hyper-V/VMware, PowerShell scripting, and on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Implement, administer, and support Windows Server environments for MSP customers.
• Deploy and troubleshoot AD, DNS, DHCP, certificate services, and related roles.
• Support hybrid identity with Entra ID and synchronization technologies.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and PowerShell scripts for automation.
• Participate in on-call rotation and resolve critical incidents.
