Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Wind Hub Technician to maintain turbine operations, planning, maintenance, safety, and customer service at wind sites. The role requires travel and close alignment with the Site Manager to meet contract obligations and timelines.

The position emphasizes troubleshooting, on-site leadership, and certification-based qualifications, with a strong focus on safety and reliability across environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years wind troubleshooting with at least 1 year in EHS, SQC, Lead role; OR 5+ years wind troubleshooting.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Work with Hub Manager to execute contractual obligations per customer requirements and activities on a daily basis.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on variable pitch & variable speed turbines.
• Support in all areas of site operations as directed by manager with minimal supervision.
• Perform some diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Document all work performed using computer-based service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE's remote operations center when necessary.
