Job summary

Longbridge Financial in Paramus, NJ seeks a Wholesale Production Retention Specialist with a reverse processing background and 2-3 years of underwriting experience. You will structure files, retain loan pipelines, and collaborate with Sales and Operations to drive funded loans.

You will review complex scenarios, ensure compliance with guidelines, and provide guidance to loan officers. This non-exempt role includes full benefits and a base salary in the 80–100K range, plus monthly bonus

Qualifications

Former Reverse Processor with 2-3 years of Underwriting experience.
DE with valid Direct Endorsement (DE) credential.
Strong communication and cross-department collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Perform upfront file structuring and maintain pipeline retention for proper processing and closing.
Oversee pipeline retention by tracking active loan files and resolving issues with Sales and Operations.
Review complex loan scenarios, including exceptions and specialized income/assets, for accurate decisions.
Submit underwriting escalations and rush review requests to facilitate timely progress.
Track and document loan reviews and decisions in the LOS for compliance.
