Avalon is seeking an experienced attorney to support a practice focused on white collar defense, government investigations, criminal matters, and other complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will handle investigations, legal research and writing, and substantive case work, with the ability to work remotely while collaborating with attorneys on active matters.

Preference for California or Texas-based candidates.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities are essential.
• Experience handling investigations, litigation, or government enforcement matters is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct legal research and analysis for cases.
• Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other substantive work product.
• Assist with investigations, case strategy, and case management.
• Review and analyze documents and evidence.
• Prepare case outlines, claims analyses, and defense strategies.
• Work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with attorneys on active matters.
• Support matters from early investigation through litigation and resolution.
