Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school is required.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• 4–7 years of defense litigation experience.
• Ability to handle cases independently from inception to resolution.
• Strong motion practice, discovery, and deposition skills.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution and trial prep.
• Develop case strategies and advise clients on risks and opportunities.
• Draft and argue pleadings, motions, discovery responses, briefs, and filings.
• Conduct and defend depositions; manage discovery and case development.
• Prepare matters for mediation, arbitration, and trial; communicate with clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys, experts, and litigation support staff.
