Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Level2 Lifestyle Coach to provide telephonic and chat-based coaching for adults with Type 2 Diabetes, from a remote US location. You will support participants using evidence-based approaches, coordinating with dietitians and nurses to improve health outcomes.

The role emphasizes NBHWC-aligned coaching, strong communication, and the ability to work 8:00am–5:00pm CST or 11:00am–7:00pm CST, Monday–Friday, with flexibility for remote work.

Qualifications

• NBC-HWC certification (or in progress) and one year coaching/behavior change experience.
• Virtual coaching experience with individuals or groups.
• HIPAA-regulated healthcare experience or familiarity.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured coaching sessions via phone and chat.
• Coordinate care with Registered Dietitians, Nurses, and Providers.
• Engage participants to set realistic, measurable health goals.
• Use motivational interviewing and behavior-change techniques.
• Document interactions and track progress with participants.
