Responsibilities

• Analyze WebSphere 8.5.5 hosted applications and environments.
• Document architecture, deployment topology, integrations, and configurations.
• Assess Java runtime dependencies and upgrade impact for versions.
• Conduct WebSphere & Tomcat Migration Analysis and map to Tomcat configurations.
• Evaluate migration requirements for JNDI, JDBC pools, JMS, security, and session management.
• Analyze SOAP-based services and service contracts; identify consumers and touchpoints.
• Create dependency maps for applications and interfaces; assess backend data flows.
• Assess identity management impacts and SAML auth integration during migration.
• Produce current/target state diagrams, gap analyses, and risk reports.
