Job summary

Wipro is seeking a Lead WebSphere Administrator to manage and design middleware environments in a US-based project. You will work on WebSphere Application Server configurations, LDAP security domains, and MQ/TIBCO integrations.

The role includes leading migration efforts across WAS versions and coordinating with architects on infrastructure deployment. You will also oversee installations, fix-pack upgrades, and web server setups (IHS/Apache), while ensuring secure plugin configurations and 2-way

Qualifications

Mandatory: WebSphere Admin experience.
Experience with LDAP configuration and security domains.
Experience in WAS migration projects across versions.

Responsibilities

Lead several middleware projects involving design and development of complex middleware environments (IHS, WebSphere).
Collaborate with architects to configure, build and deploy infrastructure for business solutions.
Perform WAS ND migration across versions (7.x to 8.x/9.x) and manage related upgrades.
Configure JMS providers, queues, queue connection factories for MQ/TIBCO integration.
Install and apply fix packs for WAS instances, setup Web servers (IHS, Apache).
Handle security configurations, plugins, 2-way SSL and dynamic outbound settings.
