Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks a seasoned WebSphere Administrator to support middleware systems and drive automation for critical applications. You will design, implement, and maintain automation across IBM WebSphere components, collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to improve scalability and maintainability.

The role requires strong UNIX and scripting skills, expertise in WebSphere 8.5.5/9 ND, and experience with coordination across teams.

Qualifications

• Experienced WebSphere Administrator with strong UNIX and scripting skills (Shell Scripts, Python/Jython).
• Advanced knowledge of HTTP, Application Server, Java, and WebSphere components (8.5.5 and 9 ND).
• Proficient in troubleshooting, installations, failover, DR, security config, LTM, junctions, and certificate management.

Responsibilities

• Provide middleware IBM WebSphere System Administration support.
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to identify automation opportunities.
