Responsibilities

• Provide middleware WebSphere System Administration support for critical applications.

We are seeking a Systems Administrator III with advanced IBM WebSphere Application Server administration experience to provide middleware support for critical applications. Required Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server, including HTTP, Application Server, Java, and Plugin components.
• Experience with WebSphere Application Server versions 8.5.5 and 9 ND Edition.
• Strong troubleshooting, installation, failover, disaster recovery, security configuration, LTM, junctions, certificate management, and performance tuning experience with WebSphere.
• Strong UNIX administration and scripting skills.
• Experience with Shell scripting and Python/Jython.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation solutions using Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with automation tools such as XL/Deploy.
• Familiarity with MQ, file transfer, and Oracle/SQL database connectivity to WebSphere.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills when working with customers and technical partners.
• Familiarity with change management processes.
