CorVel Corporation is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisor to lead a team of claims staff, ensure quality and productivity, and uphold company policies. The role supports the claims department goals and requires regular attendance.

Remote and hybrid work arrangements are available, with opportunities to travel as needed. A background in Workers’ Compensation and leadership experience are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ claims handling experience.
• Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation required.
• Current license or certification in Workers’ Compensation claims must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Supervises WC claims staff in day-to-day operations.
• Assists Claims Manager with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding new staff.
• Ensures compliance with Workers’ Compensation laws and regulatory reporting.
• Provides guidance on complex claims issues and service account instructions.
• Leads training, coaching and performance evaluations.
• Represents clients in claims reviews and presentations.
• Must be able to travel overnight if required.
