AvonRisk is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster II based in Texas with remote work options. The role manages a complex indemnity claims inventory from intake to resolution, applying knowledge of WC statutes and proactive medical management, while collaborating with case management and clients.

You will report to the unit Claims Supervisor and handle a diverse portfolio of self-insured client accounts, with responsibilities spanning investigation, medical management, reserving, and

Formación

• Minimum 3 years Texas Worker's Compensation claims adjusting with a Bachelor's degree or 5 years without a Bachelor's degree.
• Active Texas Worker's Comp license required; multi-state preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate claims within 24 hours; assess compensability and action plans.
• Direct medical management across the claim lifecycle; support early return-to-work.
• Establish, monitor, and adjust case reserves; prepare status reports.
• Direct defense counsel, set litigation strategy, manage budgets and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements and pursue subrogation with client authority.
