Chem-Aqua, the water treatment subsidiary of NCH Corporation, is seeking a field-based Service Technician. You will perform diagnostics on RO systems, water softeners, and related equipment, and deliver preventative maintenance for assigned accounts.

The role requires physical work, travel, and the ability to operate in HVAC and boiler environments. Minimum high-school diploma; 3–5 years of mechanical field experience and a valid driver’s license are needed.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of work experience using mechanical principles.
• Experience in water treatment is a plus.
• Must be able to pass drug and background check; DMV record will be checked.
• Requires physical capability to perform labor and lift up to 75 pounds.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose water treatment equipment such as RO, water softeners, and related systems.
• Assess system fluids, identify malfunctions, and take corrective actions.
• Perform preventative maintenance including inspection, cleaning, and calibration.
• Identify service opportunities and tailor solutions for customers.
• Conduct lab testing and sampling as required.
• Record and communicate treatment operation data.
• Schedule service and sales calls with regular reporting.
• Report service calls accurately.
• Manage customer chemical inventory; may lift 55–75 lb.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
