Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking a Sales Manager for Water Treatment. The role focuses on developing and executing territory sales strategies across the Eastern US, driving municipal, industrial, and private utility opportunities, and building long-term customer relationships.

You will lead technical discussions, collaborate with engineering teams, and manage proposals, pricing, and project handoffs. Travel up to 50% is required, with a strong emphasis on customer discovery and market development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales or commercial leadership in water treatment.
• Experience selling capital equipment and engineered water treatment solutions.
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to build relationships with municipalities, utilities, consultants, and EPCs.
• Proficient in using CRM and delivering technically sound proposals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve revenue objectives.
• Drive new business in municipal, industrial, commercial water markets.
• Own territory goals, bookings, and pipeline development.
• Build relationships with engineers, municipalities, utilities, and contractors.
• Forecast opportunities in Salesforce and manage pricing, negotiations, and handoffs.
• Present technologies and capabilities at meetings, webinars, and events.
• Travel up to 50% within assigned territory.
