Job summary

Kurita Group is seeking an Account Manager in the Water Treatment division to support customers in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City, IA area. This hands-on sales role focuses on evaluating water systems, proposing customized solutions, and building long-term partnerships.

The role is remote with 80-100% travel within the territory, with a base salary of $80-100K plus commission. A technical bachelor’s degree and experience in water treatment or related systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Water treatment or industrial plant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; high work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR; no immigration sponsorship.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Increase annual invoiced gross profit by following Kurita Selling Process (KSP).
• Find qualified partners and build trust through engagement.
• Propose customized solutions and close business as a long-term partner.
• Provide ongoing support with water testing, equipment maintenance, and system analysis.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer experience.
