Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager I – Water to join the Water/Wastewater Team in a remote capacity. Lead water and wastewater projects, manage scope, budget and schedule, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors to deliver safe, compliant infrastructure.

The candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree, a PE license, and at least 4 years of engineering and 2 years of PM experience, with strong leadership and communication skills. Deltek Vision familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience; minimum 2 years in project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proven ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasks.
• Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and business practices related to engineering.
• Strong leadership, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage water, wastewater, and stormwater projects from development of project proposals through completion.
• Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships.
• Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and project documentation with clients and subcontractors.
• Lead project financials, subcontractor payments, and monthly review meetings.
• Develop project-specific health and safety plans and ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Communicate updates clearly to clients, management, and project teams.
