Job summary

INFRA science & engineering seeks a Project Manager for the Water/Wastewater Program, focusing on industrial water reuse, waste heat recovery, non-potable cooling, and advanced water quality solutions. Remote USA with strong cross-functional leadership and client-facing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidate holds a civil/chemical/mechanical engineering background with 5+ years of relevant experience; PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical, or mechanical engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Chemical engineering background with water reuse or advanced cooling design experience preferred.
• Experience in oil and gas, refining, or large industrial operations is a strong plus.
• Professional licensure (PE) preferred, or the ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management services to commercial, industrial, and municipal clients, delivering water, cooling, and heat reuse programs.
• Lead client projects across four focus areas: Alternative cooling, Advanced water sourcing and design, Heat reuse, Water quality program.
• Prepare contracts, ROM cost and schedule estimates, secure permits, obtain landowner agreements, establish purveyor relationships, and oversee construction projects.
• Scope and facilitate engineering studies and research projects to inform objectives, including evaluating existing systems and recommending improvements.
• Prepare permitting and regulatory documents for water and wastewater use cases (NPDES, 404/401, USACE, Water Rights, etc.).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support SAAS tools and risk-managed development planning.
• Support marketing efforts and perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical, or mechanical engineering

Professional licensure (PE) preferred
