Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Warranty Investigator to protect the company’s Building Envelope interests by managing warranty claims. The role involves receiving, analyzing, and determining claims based on data from all available resources and negotiating resolutions with contractors and owners.

The position requires extensive roofing/construction knowledge, travel to field sites, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure proper documentation and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive roofing or commercial construction experience.
• Deep, extensive understanding of construction practices, with specific expertise in Elevate/GenFlex roofing systems.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate difficult conversations and align diverse parties (from contractors to lawyers)
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to perform field investigations.
• 2+ years of dedicated Warranty Claims or Technical Services experience.
• Proven experience handling claims facing.

Responsibilities

• Survey job data to determine previous claim history and reinforcement of claim position.
• Develop Amrize’s position, determine necessary repairs, and communicate with all relevant parties.
• Review repair quotes, identify contractors, and order materials for warranty repairs.
• Document and manage claims with proper paperwork, photos, and cost summaries.
• Interface with Warranty Services Coordinator and law department to support warrants and potential litigation.
• Efficiently manages claims expenses to meet budget goals.
