Job summary

Elevate is part of Amrize and seeks a Field Technical Representative for the Warranty/Technical Services team in the Building Envelope division. The role is field-based with a company truck and a home office, serving the Chicago territory while providing on-site technical support and warranty-related services to licensed roofing contractors and designers.

You will conduct technical inspections, investigate warranty claims, and offer on-site assistance to architects, designers, and installers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or architecture.
• Minimum 8 years active duty in a construction MOS (DD214) or 10 years construction experience in roofing foreman/superintendent roles.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel 20–30% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers, sales reps and teammates on applying Elevate, GenFlex and Gaco products per specs.
• Review installation deviations and make acceptance determinations within authority.
• Provide feedback on literature, specs and construction details to ensure accuracy.
• Develop strong customer relationships and inspire confidence.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies across projects.
• Investigate and troubleshoot roofing installation and product quality issues to determine root cause and resolution.
• Manage customer expectations throughout investigation/troubleshooting.
• Prioritize work and align resources to meet deadlines.
• Stay informed on business initiatives and identify improvement opportunities.
