Job summary

Rex.zone is seeking a mid‑senior Warehouse Robotics Engineer to deploy and operate AMR/AGV systems supporting Mexico fulfillment networks, while you work remotely from the US.

You will blend software integration with operational reliability to improve throughput, uptime and safety across warehouse robots, including navigation, maps, and site constraints. The role requires hands‑on robotics experience and strong problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Mid-senior robotics/automation experience in warehouse settings.
  • Hands-on AMR/AGV fleet operations or robotic workcells in logistics.
  • System integration using APIs and middleware for monitoring.
  • Knowledge of WMS/WCS concepts and inventory/location services.
  • Python and basic SQL for diagnostics, reporting and automation.
  • Strong incident response with telemetry and log analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute robot deployments, updates and commissioning across sites serving Mexico.
  • Integrate robotics platforms with WMS/WCS, APIs, webhooks and event streams.
  • Configure maps, zones and traffic rules for AMR navigation and safety.
  • Monitor telemetry and logs; perform RCA to reduce incidents and MTTR.
  • Create SOPs, runbooks, escalation paths and acceptance tests.
  • Validate safety controls and support compliance practices.
  • Coordinate with vendors on bug fixes, firmware upgrades and reliability improvements.
