Job summary

Rex.zone is seeking a remote Warehouse Robotics Engineer to design, deploy, and support autonomous mobile robots across fulfillment operations. You will collaborate with distributed engineering and operations teams using telemetry dashboards, logs, and scheduled syncs to improve navigation robustness and system uptime.

Qualifications

• Mid-senior experience in warehouse automation or robotics reliability.
• Hands-on AMR/AGV systems and robotic workcells experience.
• Production debugging in Python and/or C++ is required.
• Knowledge of ROS/ROS2, telemetry, and navigation stacks.
• Experience integrating software with PLCs and WMS/WES.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reliability for warehouse robotics systems with monitoring and root-cause analysis.
• Integrate robots with warehouse systems (WMS/WES), conveyors, sensors, and PLCs.
• Tune navigation, SLAM, and traffic management to boost throughput and reduce incidents.
• Build dashboards, KPIs, and incident playbooks (MTTR, uptime, mission success).
• Validate safety behaviors (geofencing, speed limits, e-stops, safe stop).
• Run controlled experiments (A/B tests, parameter sweeps) to improve performance.
• Collaborate with site operations to translate workflows into robotics requirements and SOPs.
• Document deployment standards, tests, and change management procedures.
