Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking a Manager, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, to lead peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives and engage communities across Florida. You will recruit and empower volunteers, build partnerships with corporate and community leaders, and drive revenue and participation growth for Walk to End Alzheimer’s®.

The role requires strong relationship-building, leadership, and event-management skills, with travel up to 60% and evening/weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals OR 3 - 5 years successful experience of meeting sales targets.
• Proven ability to recruit, manage, and coach volunteers to implement best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build sustainable corporate and community relationships to meet revenue and participation goals.
• Recruit, manage and coach volunteers to implement proven fundraising practices.
• Coordinate multiple volunteer-led events and ensure year-over-year growth.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team environment and strong community relationships.
• Travel up to 60% within the assigned territory to fulfill job goals.
