Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service seeks a Wage Agency Instructor to deliver code enforcement training across online, classroom, and field settings. You will apply adult-learning principles and work with ITSI customers to support course development and instruction.

The role requires four years in code enforcement and one year in adult education, with a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days. Telecommuting is available where feasible.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Four years of experience in code enforcement.
• One year of adult education and/or training.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Code Enforcement Officer License or Equivalency: Will consider two years of related experience with an Associate’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field.
• At least one year of experience in adult education and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online, classroom, and field-based training.
• Apply adult learning theories to promote learner success.
• Collaborate with Code Enforcement team and ITSI customers.
• Develop or update curriculum to meet learner needs.
