Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) seeks a Wage Agency Instructor to deliver Code Enforcement instruction across online, classroom, and field formats. The role emphasizes adult learning principles and practical application, supporting learners and industry partners within ITSI.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, four years of code enforcement experience, at least one year of adult education, and a valid Texas driver's license; licensure with TDLR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Four years of experience in code enforcement.
• One year of adult education and/or training.
• Must have a valid driver''s license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Code Enforcement Officer License with the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR).
• Equivalency options available with related education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction for ITSI Code Enforcement courses.
• Deliver online, classroom, and field-based training.
• Develop or update curriculum to meet learner needs.
• Collaborate with ITSI customers and the Code Enforcement team.
