Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is seeking a Wage Agency Instructor I for Region 2 Fire Extension in College Station, TX. The role involves delivering and coordinating training programs, including field delivery and National Fire Academy hand-off, within Texas Region 2.

This is a part-time, temporary/casual position that may telecommute within the Texas Region 2 area.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years’ experience in Emergency Services (Fire/Rescue/Haz-Mat, EMS, Emergency Management, or Law Enforcement).
• One year of experience in adult education and/or training.
• Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Certified Instructor through TCFP, SFFMA, TCOLE, DSHS, TDEM, or an equivalent certifying organization.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and coordinating classes, conferences, area schools, National Fire Academy hand-off and field delivery courses, and other special training programs as assigned.
• Position must reside in Texas Region 2.
• Reports to the Training Coordinator.
