Job summary

Vikco Insurance Services, LLC, a subsidiary of K2 Insurance Services, LLC, seeks a VP / Senior Commercial Property Underwriter (E&S) for a remote role. You will independently evaluate, price, and structure high‑hazard property risks, mentor staff, and service wholesale brokers in a results‑driven, rate‑oriented environment.

The ideal candidate brings deep E&S expertise, experience with layered/shared programs, and prior work with MGUs or surplus lines carriers to drive profitable book growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, insurance, or related field.
• Prefer 5 years of relevant insurance experience in Excess & Surplus lines underwriting, rating, policy issuance, or related operations.

Responsibilities

• Review underwriting submissions for completeness and risk exposure; summarize findings and organize documentation.
• Analyze data including exposure, financials, and loss history to support risk selection and pricing decisions.
• Prepare binders, issue policies and endorsements, and maintain current policy files.
