Job summary

OpenKrill seeks a Vice President of Product to steer strategy for its edge hardware and software ecosystems, including cameras, IoT devices, and AI capabilities. You will lead a PM team across active and emerging lines, relying on data to guide decisions and translate insights into a clear growth roadmap.

This remote role requires relocation to Austin within 6-8 months and involves travel of 30%+. You will partner with executives and the board to define go-to-market plans and market positioning.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of product leadership experience with complex technologies.
• Domain expertise in hardware development with software/cloud platforms.
• Experience with NPI and mass production of hardware devices.
• Record of commercializing AI technologies within integrated ecosystems.
• Strong business sense for product margins, pricing, and growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive product vision and strategy unifying hardware, software, and AI/ML ecosystems.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle from NPI to end-of-life.
• Scale the product organization while balancing execution and leadership.
• Use data and analytics to guide direction and board-level recommendations.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations on GTM, pricing, and market segments.
• Build consensus across hardware/software, supply chain, and commercial teams.
• Gather market intelligence on edge computing and IoT to maintain competitiveness.
