Job summary

Swooped is seeking a VP of Operations in the United States to own the company-wide operating system that translates strategy into coordinated execution. As a hands-on builder, you connect priorities, investments, resources, and performance across Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, Finance, and People, partnering with the CEO and executives.

This full-time remote role requires shaping rhythms, planning, and dashboard governance, while steering budgeting, headcount and vendor management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business operations, strategy and operations, or chief of staff.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership at a high-growth tech company.
• Designing and implementing cadences, planning frameworks, OKR systems, and cross-functional execution.
• Budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and performance metrics knowledge.
• Experience optimizing CRM, BI, planning, and collaboration tools.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery across Product, Engineering, GTM, Finance and People.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organizational operating rhythm with leadership meetings and planning sessions.
• Translate strategy into a clear portfolio of priorities, owners, and milestones.
• Map dependencies, evaluate trade-offs on investments in time, talent, and capital.
• Build and oversee intake and prioritization for initiatives.
• Partner with Finance to establish business cases, funding decisions, and stop-or-scale criteria.
• Collaborate with People/HR on design, headcount forecasting, and contractor allocation.
• Maintain visibility into demand, capacity, costs, and resource allocation.
• Evaluate and optimize systems, data, workflows, and tools across departments.
• Own the company OKR process, data hygiene, and dashboards.
• Analyze data to uncover trends and drive cross-functional programs.
