Swooped is seeking a Head of Operations and Strategy in the United States. This full-time role anchors alignment between strategy and execution across Operations, Marketing, Safety, and core Insurance Operations, with work-from-home flexibility.

You will lead planning cycles, drive performance analytics, and guide partnerships with carriers and reinsurers while scaling cross-functional initiatives and teams. The position reports to the General Manager and sits on the executive leadership team.

Qualificações

• 10+ years in strategy, operations, or general management roles.
• Experience across the complete strategy-to-execution lifecycle.
• Advanced analytical capabilities including financial modeling and P&L analysis.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams of 10–20+ people.
• Experience establishing operating cadences, planning frameworks, and accountability systems.
• Strong executive presence and ability to prepare board materials and memos.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and prioritize high-impact initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Define annual and quarterly planning cycles with FP&A and translate strategy into priorities and resource allocation.
• Monitor performance with data-driven analyses and root-cause evaluations.
• Advise on partnerships with carriers and reinsurers, with analytical rigor.
• Scale cross-program learning and implement best practices organization-wide.
• Evaluate growth opportunities and build business cases for go/no-go decisions.
• Direct operating cadences: leadership meetings, reviews, and board prep.
• Ensure ops infrastructure, systems, reporting, and tooling support scale.
• Drive automation and AI integration in operational workflows.
• Guide marketing to connect strategy to measurable pipeline results.
• Oversee safety programs to enable data-informed decisions.
• Partner with GMs and heads as analytical counterpart for decisions.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning organizational boundaries.
