Deep South Today is seeking a Vice President of Development and Partnerships to drive philanthropic revenue across the Deep South Today network. The role reports to the CEO and provides strategic direction for fundraising, with priorities, goals, and initiatives to accelerate organizational growth.

The VP will coach Senior Directors of Development and Partnerships, manage major donor relationships, and oversee the budget while aligning network-wide fundraising with development operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising strategy and revenue planning in partnership with the CEO.
• Coach Senior Directors of Development and Partnerships across local markets.
• Manage and monitor fundraising performance with regular reviews and benchmarks.
• Cultivate major gifts and institutional funders through high-level donor engagement.
• Oversee the development operating budget and ensure strong ROI on fundraising efforts.
• Represent Deep South Today with philanthropic partners and civic stakeholders.
