Job summary

Point Source Youth seeks a Senior Vice President, Development to partner with the Executive Director and build a robust fundraising program, expanding corporate, foundation, and major giving support for youth homelessness interventions nationwide. The SVP will co-create a sophisticated development department, using donor-centered strategies to advance PSY’s mission and impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic fundraising plans to diversify revenue and expand unrestricted income
• Craft compelling stories and messaging to raise support for PSY’s work
• Build fundraising practices with knowledge of program initiatives and staff capacity
• Create systems that support donor engagement and maintain a donor database
• Identify individuals and foundations to expand local support and create major donor events
• Develop goals and stewardship strategies for individual and institutional donors
• Coordinate with Communications to identify sponsors for Symposia on Solutions to End Youth Homelessness
• Collaborate to meet applications, reporting, events, and communications deliverables
• Analyze data and report organizational impact to donors and prospects
• Support efforts to secure federal, local, city and state funding for solutions to end youth homelessness
• Engage Board of Directors to meet fundraising goals and act as ambassadors
