The client is seeking a Vice President of Development to join its senior leadership team and lead an integrated Development and Strategic Communications function. This role will advance philanthropic growth, organizational visibility, and donor, partner, and stakeholder engagement during a pivotal period for global sexual and reproductive health and rights advocacy. The Vice President will align fundraising and communications strategies to strengthen the client’s external presence, elevate impact, and build sustained philanthropic support.
Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President will serve as a trusted thought partner and provide strategic leadership across fundraising strategy, external engagement, team leadership, and organizational storytelling. The role will focus on maximizing existing systems and talent while guiding the organization through its next phase of growth and visibility. The client’s mission centers on advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights through advocacy, multi-sector partnerships, and funding of community-based organizations across regions including Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Qualified candidates are expected to be seasoned strategic leaders with a strong understanding of how fundraising efforts build relationships, trust, and shared commitment. The Vice President will be responsible for strengthening and growing the philanthropic support needed to meet organizational priorities with clarity, urgency, and impact.
