Job summary

Mars Men is seeking a Vice President of Analytics & Data to build strategy, infrastructure, and capabilities for growing business performance. You will partner with Co-Founders and executives to create trusted views and enable faster decisions across the company.

The role oversees BI, governance, data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI adoption, while building a hands-on data/function that translates complex data into actionable business insights.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data analytics, BI, data science, or data engineering with leadership.
• Proven experience building scalable dashboards in high-growth settings.
• Strong data architecture, governance, modeling, and data quality knowledge.
• Experience applying AI, machine learning, or automation to analytics, forecasting, or operations.
• Strong commercial understanding of DTC/eCommerce, retail, or data-intensive consumer business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the company’s data and analytics strategy, establishing priorities, architecture, tools, and team.
• Build executive and functional dashboards providing visibility into performance, customer behavior, marketing efficiency, retention, and operations.
• Establish a trusted source of truth with consistent metric definitions, scalable reporting, and governance.
• Partner with Growth, eCommerce, Retail, Finance, Operations, and CX to turn questions into insights and forecasts.
• Develop the AI and advanced analytics roadmap to improve reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Oversee data privacy, access controls, vendor risk, and cybersecurity practices.
• Lead a high-performing data and analytics team and foster data fluency and self-service.
