Job summary

Shockwave Medical seeks a high-level marketing executive to lead downstream marketing and commercialization for its IVL products. The role reports to senior leadership and works with KOLs and cross-functional teams to drive growth.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in medical devices, a BA, and an MBA, with strong strategic marketing, product development, and leadership skills. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in a medical device environment.
• BA or equivalent experience required.
• MBA or advanced degree highly desired.
• Strong knowledge of business finances, strategic planning, marketing and sales, product development, operations and logistics.
• Experience with balloon catheter platforms used by cardiologists and vascular surgeons is preferred.
• Experience in PR, IR and social media marketing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead downstream marketing and commercialization strategies for IVL products.
• Develop value propositions, messaging, and campaigns; oversee collateral and launches.
• Oversee brand strategy, corporate and product identity across channels.
• Manage marketing operations, conferences, and global/national meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key opinion leaders to drive market growth.
