Job summary

Turbine is seeking a strategic VP of Marketing to elevate its reputation as a leader in BioAI and virtual biology. You will translate scientific differentiation into a compelling corporate narrative, executive presence, and engagement with biopharma leaders.

Lead the marketing function, set strategy across corporate and product marketing, and develop a high-performing team focused on content, conferences, and sales enablement. Strong executive visibility is essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive marketing, communications, or corporate marketing experience.
• Significant experience in biopharma, biotech, TechBio, AI-enabled drug discovery, or adjacent scientific tech market.
• Strong relationships across biopharma media, communications, and industry ecosystem.
• Demonstrated success positioning a complex scientific or technology company.
• Track record of developing founders and senior executives into recognized external thought leaders.
• Exceptional corporate narrative, positioning, messaging, and storytelling capabilities.
• Experience leading PR agencies and external communications partners.
• Ability to translate sophisticated science and technology for different audiences.
• Strong executive presence and credibility with founders, board, investors, and pharma executives.

Responsibilities

• Establish a clear and differentiated corporate narrative and positioning for Turbine.
• Build a systematic and high-impact founder and executive thought-leadership program.
• Increase Turbine's high-quality earned media coverage and share of voice in BioAI and virtual biology.
• Build relationships with priority journalists, influencers, and industry leaders.
• Increase visibility and credibility among target biopharma audiences.
• Build effective account-based marketing in close partnership with Business Development.
• Improve marketing ROI and align corporate, product, and commercial priorities.
