Palco is seeking a Vice President of Finance & Controller to direct the close, reporting, treasury, and internal controls for a remote role. You will lead the accounting organization across entities, drive process improvements, and partner with leadership on strategic financial decisions.

The role requires CPA and 7+ years of experience with at least 3 years in leadership, including GAAP knowledge and NetSuite expertise.

Qualifications

• CPA required; does not need to be current.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 in leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Full-cycle G/L experience: journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations.
• Experience managing audits and working with external auditors.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software.
• Remote work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close end-to-end.
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, and financial statements.
• Maintain reconciliations and ensure audit readiness.
• Oversee treasury, cash management, and banking relationships.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor profitability and performance.
• Lead and develop the accounting team; collaborate cross-functionally.
