Job summary

Hillel International seeks a visionary VP of Field Advancement Strategy and Operations to elevate fundraising across the movement. You will lead a team delivering field services, lay-leadership development, and shared advancement supports, translating priorities into plans, roles, and measurable outcomes.

You will align local and central fundraising efforts, build donor pipelines, and scale pilots, while partnering with senior fundraising leaders. This fully remote role is open to eligible U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience in advancement, fundraising, operations consulting, or related work with senior leadership responsibilities.
• Proven ability to grow fundraising performance or organizational performance.
• Experience leading teams across organizations, markets, or communities.
• Ability to design and scale a program, service, or operating model.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team responsible for advancement field services, lay-leadership development, and shared services.
• Set the strategy and operating model for advancement support to campus Hillels, with clear plans, roles, and success metrics.
• Advise and directly support campus Hillels on annual giving, major gifts, donor development, stewardship, campaigns, and operations.
• Help campuses recruit, engage, and develop boards and lay leaders involved in fundraising and governance.
• Oversee support for capital, endowment, comprehensive, and other major campaigns; assist where fundraising capacity is constrained.
• Identify field needs and develop, test, and scale solutions like shared staffing, marketing, training, tools, and partnerships.
• Partner with senior fundraising leaders to build donor pipelines and connect prospects to campuses.
• Set and track measures of success including growth in annual field fundraising and campaign progress.
