Job summary

Hillel International seeks an audacious, strategic Rabbinic presence and Jewish educator to serve as SVP of Jewish and Israel Education and Experience. This role shapes movement-wide vision for Jewish learning, Torah, and Israel education, coordinating key centers, and partnering with leaders to bring educational content and expertise to students, professionals, and stakeholders.

Fully remote for eligible U.S. candidates.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Jewish educator and executive leader.
• Ability to teach Torah, write and speak for broad audiences.
• Experience leading large teams and budgets.
• Experience designing and growing educational programs.
• Experience with fundraising and donor stewardship.
• Experience in large, distributed nonprofit environment (Hillel a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage movement-wide strategy for Jewish education, ensuring educational purposes are embedded in strategy and programs.
• Translate educational vision into new programs and models for students and professionals.
• Develop and deploy rabbinic and educational resources to advance Hillel’s presence.
• Own complex budgets, set priorities, allocate resources aligned to strategy.
• Partner with fundraising professionals on donor engagement, proposals, and reporting.
• Represent Hillel International at sector gatherings and in relationships with partners.
