Job summary
UnitedHealth Group seeks a senior technology leader to own the enterprise platform strategy for Optum Financial, including API, data and AI-enabled SDLC transformation. You will scale platforms as products, set adoption metrics, and lead cross-domain engineering leadership in the US.
You will shape a product operating model, drive engineering productivity, and partner with finance to align funding with strategic outcomes.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading large-scale platform and product transformations in complex environments.
- Proven track record building and scaling enterprise platforms with adoption across domains.
- Experience owning enterprise SDLC and integrating AI into software development at scale.
Responsibilities
- Owns the platform and transformation program as an enterprise product, with published interfaces and adoption metrics.
- Leads AI-assisted SDLC, including toolchain, pipelines and release automation.
- Drives governance, security, cost optimization and resilience across platform estates.
- Influences executive stakeholders and aligns funding with product operating models.
