UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Manager AI/ML Engineering to lead multiple teams delivering enterprise AI platforms and applications in healthcare.

You will drive AI adoption across claims, provider operations, and decision systems, shaping governance, delivery excellence, and scalable architecture while mentoring engineers and collaborating with product and architecture leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/AI/DS or related field.
• 12+ years software engineering experience with 8+ years in AI/ML.
• 5+ years managing engineering teams and delivering enterprise AI platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and AI architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML adoption across the team, driving innovative use of Generative AI and ML.
• Design, build, test and deploy AI-powered software solutions for healthcare.
• Develop and enforce governance, lifecycle management, and production support.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product, architects, and leadership.
