Job summary

A+E Global Media in Stamford, CT seeks a VP, Customer Data Strategist to turn first-party data into a strategic asset. You will define audience frameworks, measurement models, and KPIs to connect data to marketing, product, and revenue outcomes across the company.

Lead the Analytics Engineering function, build a composable CDP and identity infrastructure, and partner across Digital, Marketing, and New Business to embed data into planning and campaigns.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading technical teams in analytics.
• 7+ years in customer data strategy, CDP/MarTech, or marketing analytics.
• 5+ years of direct people management experience.
• Working knowledge of composable CDP platforms (e.g., Hightouch).
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and visualization tools (e.g., DOMO).
• Experience integrating first-party data with activation platforms (Iterable and Adobe).

Responsibilities

• Define the strategic roadmap for a composable CDP and identity resolution.
• Design and activate audience journeys to increase engagement and revenue.
• Oversee Analytics Engineering to build activation pipelines into marketing tools.
• Partner with data platforms to connect owned data with paid media performance.
• Embed first-party data into Digital, Marketing, and New Business planning.
• Define KPIs and ROI frameworks for data-driven strategies.
