Job summary

A+E Global Media is seeking a VP, Customer Data Strategist in Stamford, CT. You will design and operationalize first‑party data strategies, build a composable CDP and identity infrastructure, and align Digital, Marketing, and New Business leadership around data‑driven decisions.

You will oversee Analytics Engineering and data activation, ensuring fast, measurable impact on engagement and revenue while balancing privacy and governance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading technical teams
• 7+ years in customer data strategy, CDP/MarTech, or marketing analytics
• 5+ years direct people management experience
• Experience with composable CDP platforms and applied AI/ML
• Experience integrating first‑party data with activation platforms like Iterable and Adobe

Responsibilities

• Define strategic roadmap for a composable CDP and identity resolution.
• Design and activate audience journeys to improve engagement and revenue per user.
• Oversee Analytics Engineering and activation pipelines to downstream tools.
• Collaborate with the data platform to connect owned signals with paid media performance.
• Embed first-party data into campaign planning and product decisions.
