Qualifications

• College seniors and graduate students in communications, marketing or nonprofit management preferred.
• Strong writing, copyediting and verbal communication skills; able to adapt messaging.
• Detail-oriented and organized with multiple content assignments and deadlines.
• Interest in volunteerism and student-run organizations; professional communications.
• Experience with Canva, Figma, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Salesforce CRM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, editing and proofreading content for websites, social media, emails, newsletters and volunteer messaging.
• Creating and updating visuals using Canva or Figma.
• Communicating with external volunteers by phone and email to share information and engagement.
• Maintaining content calendars, contact lists and internal tracking tools.
• Supporting email and audience communications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM.
• Preparing slide decks, reports and materials for volunteer meetings and training.
• Assisting with special projects to strengthen volunteer engagement and content quality.
