Job summary

Databento is seeking a visual designer to bring its brand to life across web, digital, and print. You’ll own projects from concept through production, collaborating with growth and product design teams to translate technical concepts into clear visuals.

The role emphasizes strong visual craft, with opportunities to shape the brand and contribute to various formats, from campaigns to event materials, in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrates strong visual craft in typography, layout, color, and hierarchy.
• Typically 3+ years of experience in visual, marketing, or brand design; portfolio weighed heavily.
• Experience designing responsive web pages for desktop and mobile; understands web UX principles.
• Experience designing across digital and print formats and extending design systems.

Responsibilities

• Design responsive pages for Databento's marketing website with usability and conversion in mind.
• Develop creative concepts and visual assets for product launches, campaigns, blog posts, and social media.
• Create event signage, promotional materials, and other digital and print collateral.
• Turn complex financial and technical concepts into illustrations, diagrams, and infographics.
• Extend Databento's visual identity across channels with reusable templates and new directions.
• Own design projects from brief to delivery, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
