Job summary

Duke Primary Care (DPC) is seeking a Virtual Primary Care Physician to deliver high-quality primary care via video encounters for new and established patients. This role operates within the Virtual Care Team, expanding access across North Carolina and into adjacent states.

Physicians will work at the top of their license in virtual-optimized care pathways, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, and supporting patients from home or private locations with real-time triage and RPM

Qualifications

  • Clinicians trained in internal medicine, family medicine, or IM-Peds.
  • Experience delivering primary care via video/telehealth is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care via video visits.
  • Collaborate with the Virtual Care Center nursing/triage team.
  • Utilize remote patient monitoring tools to support patient management.
  • Document and coordinate care across Duke Health network.
