Job summary

Duke Primary Care seeks a Virtual Primary Care Physician to deliver care through video visits as part of the Virtual Care Team, expanding access across North Carolina and beyond with a focus on long-term, patient-centered relationships.

You will work at the top of license within virtual-optimized care pathways, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team and contributing to teaching and documentation within Duke Health.

Qualifications

• Training in internal medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine & pediatrics (IM-Peds).
• Experience delivering care via telemedicine/virtual platforms is preferred.
• Strong collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide care via video visits, diagnosing acute illness and managing chronic disease.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Document all clinical data in the medical record accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with the Virtual Care Center for triage and virtual workflows.
• Educate health profession learners as part of Duke Health programs.
