Job summary

Amaze Health is leading a telehealth-based practice delivering concierge-style virtual care. We are seeking a tech-savvy Medical Assistant to join our remote-friendly team and help patients access compassionate, high-quality care across digital channels.

The Virtual Health Medical Assistant will act as a critical bridge between patients and providers, guiding them through telehealth visits, updating medical records, and coordinating care with a focus on efficiency and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Certification in an accredited Medical Assistant, Paramedic, or EMT program with active status.
• At least 5 years of experience in primary care or urgent care.
• Strong technical skills with EMR, telehealth, and video conferencing tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for patient support.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized for accurate documentation.
• Willing to work onsite at Amaze Health’s Denver office (Bellview & I-25).

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through telehealth journeys and prep for appointments.
• Conduct patient intake, update medical histories, verify medications, and document visit details in EMR.
• Assist providers during consultations by managing queues and coordinating follow-ups such as e-prescriptions.
• Navigate telehealth platform and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Maintain secure patient communication and virtual referrals.
