Job summary

MyEdSpace is seeking a Video Editor to turn raw footage into high-performing, engaging educational content. This remote contractor role focuses on end-to-end edits, fast turnaround, and producing binge-worthy videos with strong editorial judgment and motion design.

You will edit educational and marketing content, create motion graphics, and ensure brand quality with minimal iterations. Prior EdTech experience and US-content familiarity are a plus; English level should be at least B2.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of video editing experience with a portfolio
• Strong motion graphics abilities including typography animation
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper Intermediate)
• Proficiency in professional editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)

Responsibilities

• Edit high-impact educational, marketing, and long/short-form content (100–140 videos/month).
• Create and enhance edits with motion graphics and transitions to elevate retention.
• Maintain brand standards by following templates and improving output quality.
• Deliver near-final work with minimal iterations and strong pacing, sound design, and vision.
