Job summary
Novastone Capital Advisors seeks a senior M&A buy side expert to serve as VP on our Investment Team, focusing on leading the full investment cycle from offer preparation, commercial assessment, to closing. This role combines direct oversight of the Investment Team with hands‑on M&A execution and represents NCA to external stakeholders.
The position is fully remote. The candidate will lead the investment process, oversee valuation frameworks and deal structuring, and collaborate with searchers
Qualifications
- 5–7 years in private equity, investment banking, or principal investing.
- Experience in search funds or supporting search fund operators.
- Proven ability to lead and manage remote high‑performing investment teams.
- Track record sourcing, structuring, and executing complex M&A transactions.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and deal‑structuring skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management with boardroom presence.
Responsibilities
- Lead full investment cycle from offer preparation to closing.
- Oversee valuation frameworks, financial models, and deal structures.
- Coordinate legal, tax, and regulatory workstreams and ensure compliance.
- Manage pipelines, resourcing, and priorities across concurrent processes.
- Represent NCA to investors, sellers, and external stakeholders.
